Construction resumes after the winter halt

Spring’s arrival means construction is resuming at the wind farm. The current thawing period is allowing the construction site to prepare for the arrival of the wind turbine components, which are being delivered at the end of May. Snow removal operations which began at mid-March will continue until the end of April. The work at the substation resumed at the end of March, the installation of the collector system began at the beginning of April and the substation’s control building was delivered on April 11. The erection of the wind turbines should begin in June and continue until the end of fall. The commercial operation date of the wind farm is still set to December 1, 2016.
