A page of history was turned: Quebec’s first 3.2M114 wind turbine is built!
A celebration to mark the installation of the first Senvion 3.2M114 wind turbine in Quebec was held on June 28. The impressive 100-meter tower of 3.2 MW was erected at the Mesgi’g Ugju’s’n wind farm on June 19. Besides being one of the quietest in its class, this wind turbine model is suitable for Quebec winters thanks to its hot air anti-icing system. It therefore produces a maximum amount of yield even in the harshest of climates. It is also the largest turbine to be installed to date in Quebec.
Moreover, the farm’s unique 92-meter MM92 of 2.05 MW was built a few days earlier.
